The National Oil Corporation (NOC) said on Wednesday that it had lost approximately 50,000 barrels of oil per day from its production due to an oil leak in one of crude oil pipelines.
This came from the Head of the NOC in Libya, Mustafa Sanalla, during his speech at an investment conference in Tripoli, in which he spoke about investment opportunities in the oil market.
Sanalla linked the achievement of his country’s goal of increasing crude production during the coming period of this year, with the availability of cash flow needed to develop the fields, along with better security measures put in place to protect the corporation’s assets.
