The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the parallel government, Hafez Kaddour, has considered any decisions or measures issued after the House of Representatives granted confidence to his government on March 1, 2022, are null and void because they violated the law.

In a letter addressed to departments and offices of Libyan embassies, missions and consulates abroad, Kaddour added that upon receiving his duties, he will form committees to review all decisions that have been taken and stop those violating the conditions and controls that must be observed in order to be dispatched abroad.

He also urged stopping any decisions or procedures issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, stressing that whoever violates this will bear legal responsibility.
