The Ministry of Interior of the parallel government has lifted the state of emergency and preparations to maximum levels in the southern region, especially in cities near the Niger border.
The ministry said in a statement that this announcement comes in light of the accelerating events taking place in the countries located on the southern borders of the Libyan state.
It also confirmed that it had provided additional support to all security directorates in the southern region.
