The Speaker of Tripoli-based House of Representatives (HoR), Hamouda Sayala, discussed on Sunday with the German Ambassador to Libya, Oliver Owcza, the resumption of the political process in Libya according to the outcomes of the Berlin conference.
Owcza said that he wished to listen to the opinions of the HoR regarding the present Libyan crisis and the ways and means of solving them, along with the possibility of adopting the guidelines as set out at the Berlin conference as a basis for managing the political process.
According to a statement issued by the HoR, Sayala welcomed the restarting of the political process, stressing the HoR’s commitment to following the guidelines of the Berlin Conference, calling it one of the pillars of the political initiative, which was announced by the HoR some days ago.
