The Public Prosecution has authorized the release of 538 inmates who were imprisoned in correctional and rehabilitation institutions.
The Public Prosecution stated in a statement that the release came after a decision to pardon them from serving the remaining sentences and paying the fines imposed against them. The High Judicial Council issued Decision No. 18 / 2025, which stipulated the implementation of the pardon for the remaining sentences of inmates after reviewing their conditions.
