Vice President of the Presidential Council (PC), Abdullah Al-Lafi, has emphasized in a meeting with the Norwegian Ambassador to Libya, Hilda Klimtsdal, the need to move forward with the reconciliation process after convening the preparatory forum.
He said the "success" of the forum facilitates the gathering of all parties to the inclusive conference, which will be held soon.
The two sides discussed developments in the political situation and the results of the preparatory forum for national reconciliation.
On her part, the Norwegian ambassador reaffirmed her country's commitment to fully support the Presidential Council in its efforts to make the reconciliation project a success, praising its role in narrowing differences between conflicting parties to reach elections.
