Sabratha Teaching Hospital has received deaths of illegal immigrants who drowned off the coast of the city.

Injured people arrived at the ambulance and emergency department as a result of the accident at dawn on Monday, according to a statement by the hospital’s media office on its Facebook page. The statement did not specify the number of deaths and injuries or details regarding the drowning accident.

The hospital said that the ambulance teams are trying hard to provide the necessary treatment and care to the injured to save their lives, calling on the competent authorities to cooperate and provide support.

On Saturday, the General Staff announced the rescue of 110 illegal immigrants of African nationalities northeast of Al-Khoms.
