An employee of the UN World Food Program (WFP), Mohammed Abu Fayed, has stated that the school feeding project had targeted nine Libyan regions, adding that work is underway to be extended to other Libyan regions.
"We reached about 44,000 Libyan students with this service," Abu Fayed added in a statement on the sidelines of the launch of the awareness campaign for the school feeding program, according to a video posted by the Ministry of Education on its Facebook page.
The head of the School Nutrition Committee at the Ministry of Education, Seif Al-Nasr Abdel Salam, announced the launch of the awareness campaign for the school and health feeding program, which will be a package of electronic materials distributed to all schools.
