Abdullah Senussi

Ahmed Nashad, lawyer for Abdullah Al-Senussi, head of Intelligence Service during the Gaddafi regime, ruled out that Al-Senussi would be handed over to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Nashad told Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, that his opponents are well aware that if they took this step, it would mean an explosion of the general situation in Libya, and the separation of the south of the country from its north, as he said.

Al-Senussi's lawyer added that his client's trial is proceeding as usual, but this depends on the (Special Deterrence Force) that holding him, and the extent of its commitment to submit to the instructions of the Public Prosecutor, as he put it.
