Six people were injured with varying degrees in an industrial fire in the Iron and Steel Complex in Misrata on Saturday morning, according to a statement by the Libyan Iron and Steel Company.
The company said that the accident occurred in the dust suction unit of the furnace of the first unit at the direct reduction plant.
Several workers were transferred to hospitals to receive treatment, while those whose cases need more care were transferred to the Burns and Plastic Surgery Hospital in Tripoli, the company explained.
