South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has affirmed his country's support to achieve the national reconciliation project in Libya.

This came during his meeting with the member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, on Sunday, on the sidelines of the African Summit held in Addis Ababa.

Both sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways of cooperation in a number of files, including the path of reconciliation led by the Presidential Council.

Al-Lafi praised the experience that South Africa has gone through in achieving reconciliation, and the possibility that Libya can benefit from.
