The Libyan State Litigation Department has obtained a judicial ruling in favor of the Libyan state against the Turkish company Atrak, which tried to obligate the State of Libya to pay compensation amounting to 21 million and 334 thousand dollars with expenses.
The judicial dispute comes against the backdrop of the decision of the Chamber of Commerce in Paris obligating the State of Libya to pay 21 million and 334 thousand dollars with expenses to the Atrak company, the department explained.
The ruling of the French Court of Cassation issued on October 9th of last year stipulates the cancellation of the ruling issued on March 14, 2023 by the Paris Court of Appeal in all its parts, and the return of the case and the parties to the state they were in before this ruling and referring them to the Court of Appeal in Paris with a different formation.
