The senior Darfur rebel, Suleiman Marjan, was captured by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in North Darfur State, Sudan News Agency (SUNA) quoted RSF Spokesman, Col. Abdul-Rahman Al-Gaali, as saying on Thursday.
According to SUNA, Marjan was recruiting youth and children for Justice and Equality Movement in Libya.
He and one of his aides were captured while they were riding a car with four mortars and personal weapon near Jebel Issa, Al-Malha Locality in North Darfur State.
According to RSF, Marjan was about to leave Sudan to Libya.
