The Head of the High Council of State, Mohammed Takala, discussed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to strengthen and develop them in all fields. This came in a meeting at the Presidential Palace in Ankara, in the presence of the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, and the Second Deputy Head of the High Council of State.

Takale congratulated Erdogan on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the Turkish Republic, wishing “Turkey and the Turkish people more progress and prosperity."

Takala and his delegation began an official visit to Turkey last Monday. He held talks with the Turkish Parliament members, during which the two sides discussed bilateral relations and political developments in Libya, in addition to the Israeli occupation forces’ aggression against the Gaza Strip, and ways to support the Palestinian people.
