The Tax Authority reported its highest-ever annual revenue of three billion dinars, marking a 37% increase from the previous year.
According to the Authority's data, tax revenues in 2023 amounted to 2.54 billion dinars, a 58% increase over the estimated budget of 1.6 billion dinars.
Income tax was the largest contributor, followed by stamp duty, deposit tax, fines, and execution rights.
The Authority highlighted that the 2023 tax revenues surpassed all the previous years since its establishment.
