The representative of Tunisia to the Security Council renewed his country's support for the new executive authorities in Libya, stressing Tunisia's keenness to support the Libyan people in their democratic path.
The representative of Tunisia stressed at the Security Council session on the situation in Libya on Wednesday, the importance of the commitment of all parties to the ceasefire agreement and the need to accelerate the exit of mercenaries and foreign fighters from Libya, whose danger threatens the entire region.
In his briefing at the Security Council, he also expressed the Tunisian people’s standing with the Libyan people, to achieve democracy and continue reconstruction in a way that would ensure Libya’s restoration of its regional and international status.
