The Security Directorates Support Service announced on Friday the release of two children held captive in an abandoned building in the Al-Asfah area, south of the capital, Tripoli.
After receiving information from investigators indicating the presence of the two children in the area, it was discovered that the building had previously been locked by the Security Directorates Support Service in the regions, according to a statement issued on Friday.
The service's special task force moved to the site and freed the two children from their detention, taking the necessary measures to ensure their safety. The service indicated that it would announce more details later.
