Tripoli-based Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli handball clubs will participate in the 39th African Handball Champions League, scheduled to take place in Hammamet, Tunisia on October 30.

14 clubs from 10 African countries will take part in the tournament. The competing clubs have been divided into three groups.

The draw, which was held on Monday, placed Al-Ittihad in the second group with Zamalek of Egypt, Morocco’s Widad Smara, Red Star from Ivory Coast, and Phoenix from Gabon. While Al-Ahli came in the third group with Hammamet Club of Tunisia, Al-Ahli from Egypt, Vines from Cameroon, and Heritage from Congo.
