The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General (SRSG), Abdoulaye Bathily, has met with the Attorney General, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, to discuss the role of the Attorney General’s Office.

Bathily said on Twitter that they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the UN mission and "this important Office" to promote the rule of law for social and political stability.

Bathily's talks with Al-Sours came after he met with Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, where he called on Libyan leaders to urgently engage in constructive dialogue to reach a comprehensive settlement on contentious political issues.
