The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said that it had evacuated more than 659 refugees over this year in a third country other than the transit or original country.
The UNHCR noted in a tweet that it had carried out 270 resettlements, in addition to 389 evacuations of migrants from Libya; the majority of them were children.
The UNHCR said that another 1300 housing centers will be made available by the end of March next year for the resettlement of migrants.
