Mayors of the West Coast and Mount Nafusa, proclaimed in a meeting on Sunday, their non-acceptance of the armed mobilization by Haftar’s militia and the liability of such actions to the cities of Zawiya and Zuwara.
Mayor of Zawiya, Jamal Bahr had stated at the conference held in his district, that threats aimed at Zawiya and Zuwara could very likely affect the entire Western region.
Bahr went on to remark that all municipalities on the west coast and the mountain region, were in total compliance at all levels, particularly from a military perspective.
