Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) office in Libya, Ahmed Zuwaiten, has stated that the vaccines used in Libya are safe and effective.
Zuwaiten added that vaccinations in Libya were licensed by the WHO in 2020, calling on Libyan families to vaccinate their children, in conjunction with the national campaign that launched last Saturday.
The official's statements came during a visit Thursday to the Al-Ghararat clinic in the capital, Tripoli, accompanied by the Director General of the National Center for Disease Control, Haider Al-Sayeh.
