The Minister of Finance in the Government of National Unity, Khaled Al-Mabrouk, has met with the President of the World Bank, Ajay Banga, on the sidelines of the bank’s annual meetings held in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh.
Banga confirmed the bank's solidarity with Libya due to the disaster that hit the eastern region, indicating the bank’s readiness to provide support and assistance in relief work and damage assessment, in addition to work related to reconstruction, according to the Ministry of Finance.
Al-Mabrouk participated in the meeting of the governors of Arab countries at the World Bank, as part of the activities of the group’s annual meetings. The meeting focused on the demands and recommendations of Arab countries to the World Bank.
