The spokesperson of Zuwara Security Directorate, Hafez Muammar, has denied news reports about arresting a group of people preparing to carry out a bomb attack in the city.
In a press statement, Muammar said that there are fake pages on social networking sites that intend to use the Directorate’s name to post "false news", calling on media agencies to be more accurate and objective before posting news that could undermine the security of the country and intimidate citizens.
Earlier, some social networking pages circulated news claiming that Zuwara Security Directorate had arrested a group of Egyptian workers who were intending to blow up targets inside Zuwara.
