The head of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbuh, has suspended the Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Aoun from work on charges of legal violations.
This was stated in the Authority’s Resolution No. 347 of 2024, which it posted on its Facebook page on Monday.
According to the decision, the suspension came for “reasons of public interest” and based on a letter from the Director of the General Department of Investigation, and without mentioning further details.
