The Government of National Unity (GNU) announced the launching of the “Dawlati” platform (e-government) for electronic services on May 01, saying the platform aims to submit documents electronically, to facilitate government transactions for citizens, within the government’s plan for digital transformation, thanking the contribution of the Telecommunications Holding Company in this project.

“Dawlati” centers are set to be opened in all Libyan cities in the Libya Post Company’s locations across Libya. 

The GNU Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah visited the first center in Tripoli and viewed the final preparations for launching the platform. 

The Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, gave a presentation on the basic idea of the platform, the stages of project implementation, and the systems that were implemented. The project manager for implementing e-government services for the Telecommunications Holding Company, Omar Butalaq, also reviewed the experience of obtaining documents through the e-government system.
