The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Taher Al-Baour, has met with the Qatari Ambassador to Libya, Khaled Al-Dosari, to discuss activating the Libyan-Qatari joint committee. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on its Facebook page that the meeting reviewed aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries, confirming the depth of historical relations and the strong ties that bring together the two peoples to achieve common interests.

During the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of activating the Libyan-Qatari joint committee, in a way that reflects bilateral aspirations towards promoting sustainable development and opening new horizons for cooperation and integration in all fields.

The Qatari ambassador expressed his country's readiness to enhance joint work with Libya, stressing Doha's commitment to supporting the Libyan people towards building stability in the country.
