Haftar and his forces have destroyed the city of Benghazi under the pretext of fighting IS terrorists.

The spokesman of the UN-proposed government’s Defense Ministry, Mohammed Al-Ghasri, has accused Khalifa Haftar, the leader of Dignity Operation, of facilitating the escape of a number of terrorists from Benghazi into the western region.

“It is highly speculated that the internationally-wanted Tunisian terrorist, Abu Ayyad Al-Tunisi, is one of those who ran away from Benghazi.” Al-Ghasri remarked.

Speaking with Tunisian Shames FM on Monday, Al-Ghasri added that Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos operation killed a number of Tunisian nationals among the IS militants in Sirte battles, pointing out that their children and wives are still kept in custody in special centers in Misrata.

“Haftar’s calls for moving war into Tripoli is much ado about nothing, he is just talking, he knows that the Libyan people won’t give in to another military man to be another Gaddafi, as Haftar himself is a spitting image of Gaddafi.” Al-Ghasri added.

He also said that the same Russian officials that met with Haftar aboard the aircraft carrier had visited Misrata and met with the operations room of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos, offering support for the operation and training for its fighters, yet offering weapons if needed.

“But we did not show off the meeting and made a big deal out of it on the media because we do not incline to brag about having support to fight our fellow citizens.” Al-Ghasri indicated.

Last December, several IS militants pulled out of their locations in Benghazi and were faced with no hindrances by Haftar’s forces, whom then were accused by Al-Ghasri to have facilitated the movement of those terrorists to the western region, which he also rendered as a war crime.
