Human Rights Solidarity said that the justification issued by the Internal Security Agency regarding the death of activist Siraj Dughman was discredited and unacceptable.

The organization said in a statement regarding deaths under arbitrary detention in Haftar’s prisons in Benghazi and Garnada that three citizens died within three days while they were under arbitrary detention in the period between April 19 and 21.

The organization also noted that everyone was detained without trial in isolation from the world and deprived of the basic rights stipulated in international human rights law. It considered that the only way to know the truth about the death of Dughman and the two other activists  would only be through an independent investigation directly supervised by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya. "Otherwise, he is a victim of murder in detention."

Human Rights Solidarity held legal responsibility for those who directly committed these crimes, including military and civilian leaders, and also referred to the government of national unity and the government appointed by House of Representatives, which funds official and unofficial bodies through secret budgets and pays salaries to them, according to the statement.

The Internal Security Agency of Haftar's forces justified the death of political activist Siraj Dughman by falling on his head from a high place while trying to escape from the bathroom window by climbing over sewage pipes.
