The spokesman of Al-Bunyan AL-Marsoos military operation, Mohammed Al-Ghasri, denounced the statements made by Libya’s ambassador to the UN, Ibrahim Dabbashi, and called on the UN-proposed government to take the necessary measures against him.

Press Solidarity reported Al-Ghasri as saying that Dabbashi’s statements made the officers, soldiers and revolutionaries on the frontlines angry, pointing out that such statements at such a time aim at distorting the forces’ victories, however; these statements will not be taken seriously by any of the countries at the UN Security Council, he added.

“Dabbashi’s statements are a crystal clear support for IS militants in Sirte.” Al-Ghasri remarked.

Last week, Libya’s ambassador to the UN, Ibrahim Dabbashi, called for setting a special plan for Sirte city at the UN Security Council session, saying that the armed groups must leave the city after it is liberated so that “We don’t get surprised by Al-Qaeda controlling the city after IS militants leave it.” He indicated.
