Musa Al-Koni, a member of the Presidential Council, held talks with the Qatari Ambassador to Libya, Khaled Al-Dosari, on Monday, which focused on developments in the Libyan peace process.
The meeting touched upon the Arab and international efforts to end the political stalemate and the electoral and national reconciliation tracks.
Ambassador Al-Dosari conveyed the greetings of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, wishing Al-Kony a speedy recovery after the latter's recent medical trip.
He confirmed his country's continued support for the PC's efforts towards achieving stability in Libya.
On his part, Al-Koni praised Qatar's "pivotal" role in supporting the electoral path and national reconciliation, which he said had reached advanced stages.
