The Implementation of Housing and Utilities Projects agency said on Saturday that work is underway to open the track leading to the Third Ring Road in Tripoli.
The project is being implemented by the Libyan Urban Company under the supervision of the Tripoli office.
Last October, property owners in the area targeted in this project received compensation, the agency said.
The Government of National Unity approved in September 2021 a contract to implement the Third Ring Road with a consortium of Egyptian companies for 4.2 billion dinars.
The 23 km road will be implemented in four stages, starting from Ghout Al-Shaal and to Maitika International Airport.
