Chairman of Presidential Council Fayez Sarraj and his delegation held talks with British Prime Minister Theresa May in London on Thursday over the current aggression on Libyan capital of Tripoli.

Theresa expressed her country’s support to the Government of National Accord and the need to stop the war on Tripoli and resumption of political talks under the umbrella of UN mission in Libya.

She also condemned human rights abuses against civilians being committed in Tripoli due to the war and promised to find a way to stop the fighting through the UN Security Council.

For his part, Sarraj expressed thanked Theresa for the British stances regarding the aggression on Tripoli, confirming that resistance will continue until the invaders return to their pre-offensive locations.

Sarraj’s visit to Britain came after similar visits to Italy, France, and Germany.
