Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh convened a meeting with a high-level delegation from Niger on the sidelines of the Mediterranean Migration Forum in Tripoli.

The delegation comprised Colonel Abdelrahman Amadou, a member of the National Council for the Protection of the Homeland, and Colonel Ibro Amadou Basharu, Chief of Staff of the National Council.

As per the GNU media office, Amadou delivered a message from Nigerien President Bola, highlighting the robust relations between Libya and Niger and recognizing the Libyan government's endeavours in addressing irregular migration.

President Tinubu also stressed the significance of establishing a collaborative framework among stakeholders involved in migration issues.

The meeting addressed shared interests and explored avenues to enhance cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.
