Speaker of House Representatives (HoR) Aqilah Saleh held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Eric Strating, in the town of al-Qubba on Monday.
Issues and challenges related to the Libyan political agreement were discussed.
The Dutch Ambassador said the political situation in Libya has been discussed, pointing out that he had a very fruitful debate with Aqilah Saleh. He also stressed that he will be in constant contact with the parliament to move forward towards stability in Libya.
Ambassador Strating arrived Monday morning at Labreg Airport, a day after he met with Khalifa Haftar, the leader of Dignity Operation, in Rajma area, 27 km east of Benghazi, according to Haftar's office.
Strating declared he had friendly and open exchange with Haftar about the future of Libya and the stabilization process.
