The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Ramadan Bujanah, who also holds the position of the Head of the South Development Authority, said on Tuesday that he was looking forward to achieving fruitful cooperation with Turkish companies to develop the southern region's cities in the fields of energy, agriculture and industry.
Bujanah's remarks came in a meeting in Tripoli with a delegation of businesspersons and representatives of Turkish companies. They also discussed a number of issues, including the exchange of technical and professional expertise between Turkish investment companies and the South Development Authority.
The meeting also saw a discussion about taking advantage of the technological development of Turkish investment companies in developing southern Libya, while Bujanah reviewed also strengthening cooperation to train professionals working in the Southern Development Authority, according to a statement by his media office, which noted that the meeting reflected the importance of trade and economic relations between Libya and Turkey.
