Libya has participated in the Belgrade International Tourism Fair, which included representatives of the faculties of archaeology and tourism of Libyan universities and a number of local travel and tourism companies with their exhibits.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has said that the Libyan Ambassador to Serbia, Mohamed bin Ghalbun, and a number of Arab and African ambassadors visited the Libyan pavilion on Friday and reviewed its exhibits.
On the sideline of this visit, a lecture was given on the most important archaeological, civilizational, and cultural landmarks in Libya.
The ministry confirmed the establishment and development of faculties specialized in the field of archaeology and tourism in a number of Libyan universities in tourist areas that are rich in ancient monuments, in addition to encouraging researchers to prepare in-depth studies in heritage and archaeology.
