Volatile weather in the regions of the country, especially (eastern and southern), due to the influence of desert depression

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has expected volatile weather in the country's regions, especially eastern and southern regions, due to influence of desert depression, which is accompanied by active to strong winds from the southern sector, which speed may sometimes exceed 70 kilometers per hour, causing dust and sand to stir up and horizontal visibility to decrease as temperatures rise.
It expected in its daily bulletin that the depression will move as of tomorrow towards Egyptian territory, and the winds will gradually shift to northwesterly with a drop in temperatures over most of the eastern and southern regions and a proliferation of clouds over some regions of the northeast, while the weather will be relatively cold in the northern regions. West of the country with relatively active northwesterly winds, especially tomorrow, and increasing clouds that may be interspersed with light rain, especially in coastal areas. Wind speed will decrease on Wednesday in most areas of the country with an improvement in weather conditions.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Monday, 22 April 2024 for the following regions of the country as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds increase from time to time over the area with the possibility of light rain in some areas.
- Wind: Northwesterly moderate, turning tomorrow into active northwestern, which may cause dust to stir up in some areas.
- Temperature: Ranges in most areas between (20--25°C).
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Cloudy.
- Wind: Southeasterly to southwesterly, active to strong, and sometimes its speed may exceed (70 km/hour), causing dust and sand to be stirred up and horizontal visibility to decrease. Tomorrow, it will gradually turn to active northwesterly, decreasing in speed. It will speed up on Wednesday, however, with an improvement in the weather condition
- Temperature: It is high today, ranging between (34-40 °C) and will record a markable decrease as of tomorrow in most areas.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Southeasterly to southwesterly, active, sometimes strong, causing dust and sand to be stirred up, and horizontal visibility will decrease, turning northwesterly tomorrow.
- Temperature: Ranging between (34-40 °C) and will decrease on Tuesday.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some clouds.
- Wind: Southeasterly, active, causing dust and sand to be stirred up, and horizontal visibility will decrease on Wednesday, turning northwesterly.
- Temperature: Ranging between (36-42 °C) and will decrease on Wednesday.
