The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has expected moderate weather conditions in most regions of the country, with clouds increasing from time to time in the southwestern regions, interspersed with showers of rain, sometimes accompanied by cells of thunderclouds.
The expected weather conditions in Libya, Monday, Thursday, 02 May 2024, are as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Variable light-speed, turning tomorrow to northeasterly.
- Temperature: Ranges between (22-28°C) in most areas.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: sparsely cloudy, sometimes with the possibility of light and scattered rain falling on some coastal areas and the Green Mountain.
- Wind: Northwesterly to westerly, moderate to active in speed.
- Temperature: ranges between (22-28°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will increase from this evening, with the possibility of scattered rain falling over Ghat and its vicinity, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms.
- Wind: Northeast to southeasterly, moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (32-38 °C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Southeasterly, Light to moderate, turning tomorrow to moderate northerly to northeasterly.
- Temperature: Ranges between (37-40 °C).
