The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has expected the weather to be moderate in most regions of the country, while the wind will be active this evening in the northwestern regions, with an increase in clouds and a chance of scattered rain in some areas of the Nafusa Mountain - Gharyan - Tarhuna, as well as some areas extending from Khoms to Misrata.
The NCM expected, in its daily bulletin, that most regions of the country will witness stable weather conditions tomorrow, while the western region, especially the interior and south, will be affected on Friday by active southeasterly winds stirring dust, with a slight rise in temperatures.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Wednesday, 24 April 2024:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Cloudy. Clouds will increase this evening over the area, with a chance of light rain falling in some areas of the Nafusa Mountain - Tarhuna - Gharyan - Khoms up to Misrata).
Wind: Southerly, moderate to active at times, which may lead to stirring up dust and expected to change this evening to an active northerly wind.
- Temperature: Ranges in most areas between (24--30°C). recording a markable drop as of this evening.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy.
- Wind: Northwesterly moderate.
- Temperature: Ranging between (20-25 °C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds, which may sometime increase over Ghadames.
- Wind: Variable in direction with light speed, turning as of evening to moderate to active northeasterly.
- Temperature: Ranging between (29-30 °C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some clouds, sometimes increasing.
- Wind: Northerly to northeasterly moderate.
- Temperature: Ranging between (32-36 °C).
