The Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Al-Mangoush has informed, on her visit to Kuwait, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah about Libya Stability Initiative of the Government of National Unity to end the political impasse in the country.
Al-Sabah stressed that the solution to the Libyan crisis needs to be at the hands of Libyans themselves without foreign intervention, reiterating the support of his country for the Libyan Government of National Unity and Presidential Council in their efforts to achieve stability.
Meanwhile, Al-Mangoush invited the Kuwaiti Crown Prince to attend an international conference in Libya in late October.
The Chairman of Kuwait Ummah Council Marzouq Al-Ghanim told Al-Mangoush that his country is known for its diplomatic approach that entails no intervention in states' domestic affairs, but it doesn't mean that Kuwait doesn't support and assist Libyans to overcome the current crisis.
Al-Mangoush and Al-Ghanim reviewed preparations for December elections and the October conference in Libya, wishing that Kuwait would positively engage to make this confidence succeed.
