The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah followed up on the repairing and development of a number of roads that had been supervised by the Ministry of Transportation during his meeting with the Head of the Audit Bureau, Khalid Shakshak on Thursday.

Dbeibah followed up on the roadworks at the coastal road: Tobruk - Emssaed 150 km, the Tripoli - Ras Ajdair 80 km double lane and 90 km single lane, the Tawergha - Tripoli 160 km, and the Ajdabiya - Brega 80 km.

Dbeibah stressed the importance of quality in facilitating the movement of people through a parallel road, urging road sectors' managers to work seriously on the project.

Meanwhile, Shakshak hailed the precautionary measures taken in repairing and developing roads, stressing the importance of following the same procedures in other projects.

During the meeting, the Head of the Transportation Projects Implementation Agency, Sami Al-Abash, presented an explanation of the technical and contractual procedures of the project, the implementation timetable, and the challenges facing the project.

The meeting was also attended by the Acting Minister of Planning, the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, in addition to a number of directors of the Audit Bureau and the Transportation Projects Implementation Agency.
