The Head of the Presidential Council and Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah met on Monday to review the country's political and economic developments.
The two sides emphasized support for the UN envoy's efforts toward holding elections this year and stressed the need to unite efforts at this end.
They expressed the government's readiness to provide all support needed to make the voting day a success.
Discussions also covered issues, such as government spending during the first quarter, with an emphasis on publishing the relevant data through the Ministry of Finance.
The two officials praised the efforts aimed at implementing the unified salary scale and disbursing the allowance for the wife and children before the month of Ramadan.
