Greece

President Mohammed Menfi of the Presidential Council (PC) held a meeting with the Greek Ambassador to Libya, Nikolaos Garilidis, on Wednesday.

The meeting focused on opportunities for enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations to further their shared interests.

The PC media office said the talks encompassed a comprehensive review of bilateral relations, with an emphasis on devising strategies to fortify and advance these relations in a manner that is advantageous to both countries. Specifically, the discussions also addressed the re-engagement of Greek companies in Libya, facilitating trade exchanges, and reinstating air travel between the two nations.

It is worth noting that on June 4, the Greek Ambassador engaged in discussions with the Minister of Transport, Mohammed Al-Shoubi, pertaining to the re-establishment of Greek companies in Libya and the resumption of air travel between the two countries.
