The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of the Government of National Unity has met with the American Environmental Services Company to discuss digital farming techniques and raise crop production.
The meeting focused on exchanging experiences and knowledge in the field of digital farming techniques, which include the use of technology to raise the level of production of field and horticultural crops, the ministry said.
Both sides discussed increasing the efficiency of the biological use of natural resources and the possibility of applying these technologies to improve soil properties.
A model of smart farms, methods of operating them, and ways to benefit from them was presented, to enhance international cooperation in the field of agriculture, achieve sustainable development and reach a level of food security, according to the ministry.
