Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli of Tripoli will meet in a re-match of the semi-finals of Libya Football Cup, the Libyan Football Federation has decided.
The two clubs will meet on Friday at the Tripoli International Stadium without an audience and with special security arrangements, according to a statement issued by the Libyan Football Federation on their official Facebook page.
The semi-final match of the Libyan Football Cup was suspended last Thursday during a penalty shoot-out after the normal time ended goalless.
Controversy hit the pitch after the second penalty kick by Al-Ahli Tripoli, which forced the referee, Esam Jahani, to stop the game before completing the shoot-out.
