Al-Ahly Tripoli won 2-0 against Al-Ahly Benghazi on Saturday in Sfax, Tunisia as part of the second round of the Libyan football league’s six-team title-winning round, thus remaining atop the group with 6 points, leaving Al-Ahly Benghazi at 3 points.

In a second match of the title-winning round, Al-Nasser won 2-0 against Abu Salim, bagging 3 points and leaving Abu Salim with 1 single point from a draw in the first match.

The third match was between Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal, which - disappointingly for Al-Ittihad - ended with a 1-1 draw, thus collecting the first point after a loss in the first match. Al-Hilal has now 2 points.

Al-Ahly Tripoli leads the group of six teams with 6 points, followed by Al-Ahly Benghazi, then Al-Nasser (3 points each but with goal difference). Fourth comes Al-Hilal with 2 points and fifth and sixth Al-Ittihad and Abu Salim – on goal difference.

Al-Ahly Benghazi will play the eastern rival Al-Nasser in the third match, Al-ittihad will play Abu Salim and Al-Ahly Tripoli will play Al-Hilal.
