Libya’s Al-Ittihad made it through to the final of the African Handball Championship after beating Congolese Kinshasa 23 – 22.

The first half ended with Kinshasa winning 12-10, but in the second half, Al-Ittihad took control of the match and beat the Congolese team to qualify for the final, which is to be played later today.

Al-Ittihad’s journey in the championship saw it win over several competitors, coming second in the group at the first round, then beating Egypt’s Hiloblis at the quarterfinals then Kinshasa at the semifinals.
