An official source at the National Oil Corporation confirmed that Libya's oil production has dropped to 315.000 bpd because of the embargo imposed by eastern forces on the oil exports from the ports in the crescent region, according to Reuters.

The source added that the storage tanks in the port of Al-Hariga and Zueitina are full because Haftar's forces prevented the entry of tankers to load oil from the ports.

Earlier, the NOC announced the gradual reduction of production after the tankers were prevented from loading their shipment and were kept waiting in ports for several days.

Reuters quoted another source as saying that about two-thirds of the storage capacity in the eastern ports is inoperable and that the storage capacity available is already full.
