The General Authority for the Search and Identification of Missing Persons has announced the identification of 24 bodies through DNA, who died since the events of February 17 revolution in 2011.

A statement issued by the authority on Thursday published the names of the missing persons after their identification. 

It noted that the results obtained from the laboratory administration were approved after verification by the departments responsible for searching for remains, registering missing persons’ families, and forensic medicine and hen referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Previously, in August, the authority had announced the identification of one body from those missing during the February 17 revolution, along with three criminal cases referred by the prosecution.
